Our Story

Our organization began with a shared dream of 5 WWII veterans. This group of men dreamed of the day there would be a museum in the East-Central part of Wisconsin dedicated to telling the stories of our Honored Veterans.

Get in the know Of everything going on with MVMEC!

  • Starting January 1, 2024 our hours will be 11AM to 4PM. We will go back to summer hours in the Spring.
  • We have selected a date for our annual Cornhole Tournament. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 16, 2024. We clear out several of our vehicles in the center of the museum for this. See the poster to the left for more details.
  • We have decided to change the name of our annual Open House. The new name is “Military History Day”.  The date is May 4, 2024. Mark your Calendars! See the poster to the left for more details.
  • Our annual golf tournament is scheduled for May 29, 2024. A great way to have a fun day of golf and also help support the mission of our museum. See the poster at the left for more details.
  • We have just added a new video of our small artifacts area of the museum on your YouTube channel. Click here!
  • Many of our visitors ask what happened to the T34-85 Tank we used to have on display. We have an article on the tank on page 5 of our Winter 2022 Newsletter. Click here to see the Newsletter.
